Spatiality, colour and texture are the main tools; painting and sculpture are part of interiors.<\/p>\n<p>I have designed well-known public and private interiors in Liep\u0101ja, R\u012bga, Valmiera and other Latvian cities. I choose to create my interiors as dramaturgical character pieces and environmental atmospheres. This is how I have created interiors for salons, hotels, restaurants and public spaces. I like to work with individual living spaces, interiors of private houses.<\/p>\n<p>My work has been nominated and awarded in various professional shows. The most well-known interiors published in the professional press are: the &#8220;Naudas pasaule, Rigensis Bank, KinoBalle, business centres M\u0101ja, Kurzeme, hotels Promen\u0101de, Elefant, Pori\u0146\u0161, restaurants Dorian Gray, Piano, Ol\u012bve, Pastnieka m\u0101ja, Medus, R\u0101tes v\u0101rti.<\/p>\n<p>I studied at Liep\u0101ja Secondary School of Applied Arts and studied architecture at Riga Polytechnic Institute (now Technical University). My working life has been closely connected with Liep\u0101ja \u2013 I have been the chief architect of Liep\u0101ja, the stage designer of the legendary festival Liep\u0101ja Amber and a teacher at the Liep\u0101ja Applied Arts High School.<\/p>\n<p>I have been working as an architect and interior designer since 1986.
