Nothing is accidental! My relationship with fashion began when I was a student. Once, while I was still studying at Vilnius University, my mother and I walked by chance into the Vilnius Fashion House. The Director of the House noticed me and offered me a job as a model exhibiting clothes.
After finishing university I worked as an economist which was my major at university and met by accident a young talented Latvian designer. Since then I have always worked in the fashion industry.
I expanded my knowledge in fashion and gained a diploma of a professional stylist and coincidentally also received an offer to give lectures on “The Professional Creation of Visual Images”.
My love for Riga led me to be a professional guide and to escort tourists around our ‘small Paris’ with great pleasure and enjoyment.
As if by fate all things have come together in one place – the Riga Fashion Museum. Now I can use all my knowledge and experience in a place and in an industry I love.
