A Personal Collection of Vivienne Westwood Clothing & Accessories

Dame Vivienne Westwood (1941–2022) was always a rebel – yet at the same time, she became a classic of British fashion: creator of the punk aesthetic, champion of British style, especially tartan and tweed, advocate of corsetry in fashion, political and climate activist... All these striking facets of her design can be appreciated in the Fashion Museum's exhibition ‘A Personal Collection of Vivienne Westwood Clothing and Accessories’, created in collaboration with British collector Lee Price. One of the exhibition's leitmotifs is Westwood's own words: “You have a better life if you wear impressive clothes.”
